Sunflower House Preschool Early Child Development Program is a culmination of my life's work and a dream come true. I have been a mother, a nanny, a 3rd-grade teacher, an early childhood special education teacher, and an early childhood teacher spanning the last 29 years. Oh, the lessons I have learned and the books I could fill about the beauty and the challenges of parenting, education, and child development.

 

One thing I know for certain is that our children are the future of humanity, and there is nothing more important than equipping them with the heart and will to live their lives with conviction and purpose that is uniquely their own.

My educational philosophy approaches learning as a whole-human journey. One that inspires children to explore their world in a nurturing environment, to instill responsibility for self and others, and to seek goodness and truth. Academics are based on these principles, with high-achieving outcomes.

Truly, can you imagine anything better for your child than to be a happy, responsible human who seeks learning opportunities for self and world betterment? Children who love themselves and others and refuse to stop learning are the greatest possible outcome of any educational system.  Working with the miracle beings we call children is my passion and an absolute gift, and I can't wait to meet your little miracle!
